webPDF 8: What's New?
Our webPDF software has been available on the market for more than a decade and has been continuously adapted, developed further, and used very successfully ever since. This release focuses primarily on the webPDF Portal. Portal 8 has been completely redesigned and now offers, among other things, a multi-document view and a new document manager.

webPDF 8: Installation Updates
Particularly noteworthy are the migration to OpenJDK and its integration into the installation. In addition, for various Linux distributions we now provide packages for the package managers apt, yum, and zypper, and we offer Docker and VMware images based on Debian 10. Further adjustments were also made in administration. For example, all important server functions can now be configured through the portal, and logs can be viewed directly there.
Updates for the webPDF wsclient and ant-task Library
As part of the webPDF 8 release, webPDF wsclient was also updated so that it supports the new endpoints of webPDF 8. The same applies to the webPDF ant-task library.
Note: wsclient is now available in version 2.0.0, which is required for webPDF 8.
