Support for the HEIC/HEIF Format
Minimum technical requirements
- Java version: 11
- webPDF version: 8 (revision 2159)

The HEIF (High Efficiency Image File) and HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) formats are standards developed by the Moving Picture Experts Group for storing images and image sequences.
A key benefit is small file size at comparable quality. In addition, the format can contain multiple images in one file and supports features such as transparency, animation, and audio.
With update revision 2159, webPDF supports HEIC/HEIF both server-side via the "Converter" webservice and in the portal.
You can upload HEIC/HEIF files in the portal, preview them, and convert them to PDF.
