Digital signatures with the webPDF portal

Digital signature

The webPDF portal lets you digitally sign PDF documents with ease. Its integrated electronic signing features support both German signature law requirements and European directives for digital signatures. A digital signature enables legally relevant electronic document processes and supports long-term archiving requirements.

How to apply a digital signature

First, upload the PDF document you want to sign in the webPDF portal. Then click [Digitally sign document] in the workspace functions area to start the signature process (the button is highlighted in red in the screenshot).

A settings dialog opens where you can define signature details. After completing the settings, click [Sign] to apply the digital signature and then download the signed document from the workspace.
