Edit and manage PDF attachments in the webPDF Portal

PDF documents can contain attachments in addition to their content pages. In webPDF, you can add, remove, and detach these attachments easily.
How do you add attachments to PDF documents?
First, upload your PDF file to the web portal and open it.
Then click the Attachment tab in the webPDF portal.
Next, choose either Document or Page Range.
If you want to place your attachment at a specific position in the document, select Page Range. The Add attachment menu opens, where you can select the file and add a short info text.
An attachment can be fixed or not. The Fixed position option determines whether the icon and the attachment can be moved later. In addition to the info text, you can choose a suitable icon and a preferred color.
If you select Document instead of Page Range, the attachment is added at document level rather than on a specific page. A simple dialog opens where you can directly select the file.
You can later find an overview of all attachments in the left-hand sidebar. From there, attachments can be viewed, deleted, extracted, and downloaded.
Where can I find the attachments of the PDF documents?
You can find all attachments via the paperclip icon in the left sidebar.
Detaching attachments
If a document already contains an attachment, you can remove it or save it for other purposes. To do this, open the document in the webPDF portal and click the paperclip icon in the left sidebar. A list of all attachments contained in the PDF appears next to the sidebar. There you can view, download, or delete attachments from the PDF.
